Charity Donations
Your presence on the day is what’s most important to us and we don’t require gifts. Instead, if you would like to donate to one of our chosen charities it would be greatly appreciated. We have JustGiving pages for each of our charities and the links for these can be found below.
Alzheimer’s Research UK
Every 3 minutes dementia steals a happily ever after. Research is our only chance of changing the ending for people affected by dementia.
I sadly lost my grandad Arthur to Alzheimers in 1985, when treatment was limited and patients were often cared for in a Psychiatric Hospital.
My Aunt Iris also had dementia and sadly passed away in May 2022.
My beautiful mum Sheila was diagnosed with Alzheimers and Vascular Dementia in February last year, having had problems with her memory and anxiety for several years. Mum’s memory is deteriorating but she still remembers her beloved sister Iris.
There are now new treatments available and hopefully we are getting closer to a cure for this terrible illness.
Any donations will be greatly appreciated.
Thank you,
Debbie.
Douglas Macmillan Hospice
Cancer affects so many people. We have all been affected by cancer in some way, and realise the impact it has on families and their friends.
I sadly lost my mother Anne, brother Sean, and sister Mary to cancer. I am personally aware of the dedication and care the Dougie Mac offer to patients and families in Staffordshire.
Any donations would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you,
Mike.
